Turns out the delivery company must've dropped the entire package because every piece is scratched and a center column was dented on the threads, hence the change in packaging. Waited on a 2nd shipment of the missing parts. Customer service kept the fact that the stairs were not delivered in the same manner as they shipped, ie, the delivery company changed the packaging (it was supposedly shipped via 1 large box but I rec'd it in 2 shipments on pallets). We still have pieces of stairs not fully in place because the pieces were made incorrectly and do not fit. They said we could get refunded for install costs, and then later (after we paid thousands for the install) back tracked and said no refund possible per the contract we signed after stairs were installed. Customer service refused to send a new set of stairs and urged us to continue with installation. Customer service has been horrible and cost us thousands of dollars due to length of time it took for contractor to fix faulty parts and install stairs. The entire stair case has issues and needed tons of work to be able to put together because of incorrect/ poorly made parts and still this is on-going since we first bought the stairs last October (it’s March now). ![]() ![]() I really wanted to buy locally but everything went wrong from the start. I read other bad reviews and stupidly figured they were rare exceptions. Thousands of dollars more than the stairs cost and issues still not resolved. Walk away! Don’t even think about buying here! I did and it was a HUGE and VERY EXPENSIVE mistake.
